About PRO Management
Since the inception of PRO Management in 2007, our portfolio of clients has grown, ranging from premier holiday parks in Queensland and interstate to NSW, Western Australia and the Northern Territory, out to remote campgrounds of Cape York Peninsula.
After completing a trade qualification as an electrician in the United Kingdom, our principal Darren Beck was first introduced to the holiday park industry in Australia with a job as Assistant Manager at a popular North Queensland caravan park.
Darren quickly progressed to managing resorts and strata titled apartment buildings before taking over the long-term management of a premier caravan park in South East Queensland.
After a hugely successful move to holiday park ownership as Partner/Manager of a large holiday park in central NSW, Darren realised the difficulty in recruiting and retaining staff for the effective management of day to day business operations. The concept of Parks and Resorts Operational (PRO) Management was founded. Operational excellence and superior service delivery are key components in the foundation of PRO Management. Our aim is to provide professional management services resulting in increased efficiency, market presence and guest satisfaction.
After being approached by the Caravan Parks Association of QLD to partner in the delivery of training to existing caravan park staff, a Contract was negotiated with the Sunshine Coast Institute of TAFE. P.R.O. Management commenced delivery of Certificates III, IV and Diploma in Holiday Parks and Resorts and Tourism.
In taking our training department to the next level, PRO Management sourced funding to bring new staff into the Industry, developing and operating a Training Park course. In early 2014, PRO gained compliance as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO Code 40890), and can pride ourselves on being able to offer a flexible and holistic service. In doing so, we customise training courses to meet the needs and priorities of the holiday park and tourism industries.
